I OVERCAME.

On 13th August 2017, I lost a close person in my life...my beloved Dad. He was my friend, a person i looked up to...one with whom I shared my deepest secrets with, my dreams, aspirations, my fears and my deepest desires. Time had come for him to leave and i just had to accept it. It took me long enough to OVERCOME that. Sleepless nights filled with tears, i tried getting busy, distracting myself with numerous activities,but at the end it came down to the fact that he was GONE and he wasn't going to back to me...to us.

I used to be the one comforting others not knowing that I would be in the same situation as them later on. I learnt that the comforting words from people like ,"don't worry, everything happens for a reason, you going to get past this" never really help in the healing process, cause after the words, they are going to go back to their homes and you'll be left on your own to grieve feeling the emptiness.

I got affected with his loss to the extent that I lost hope...I lost my faith...I lost the meaning of existence, and I was only filled with hate and anger towards God for taking him away from me. I was almost taking a wrong turn in life, but God had other plans for me. He sent an angel in the form of a friend...she showed me that losing someone isn't the end of life.

JOHN 14:18 I WILL NOT LEAVE YOU AS .ORPHANS;I WILL COME TO YOU. This was the verse that she had given me to read, and later on as I sat and thought over it I saw that she was right... Our Lord is the father to the fatherless, and he never lets harm come in the way of His children. He gives comfort to the ones grieving(Lamentations 3:31-33), as i started reading these verses from the bible I learnt that even though he's no longer with me, he had left me in the care and protection of the Most High.

I felt my strength being renewed to greater heists and I regained back my faith and all that was lost. I saw the purpose of life and that's when i knew that i had OVERCAME.
Grief, loneliness, emptiness, hate, anger, vengeance and Fear i had OVERCOME ALL THAT!!!

So am speaking to someone here...Don't let the situation that you in right now put you down, don't let it be the reason of you not prospering.

He said it's finished...say to the mountain I overcame...say to the problem you came too late...tell that sickness I already won and trust me you'll overcome all.

I OVERCAME!!! my grief anger and all it's all behind me now.
